The Prince of Peace

Welcome to another blog! My name is Dasia, host of Daughters of The King ministry. Today I will be discussing peace the eternal peace Jesus gives not the peace the world falsely promises.
Worldly Peace is a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there’s no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom.
Biblical peace has nothing to do with the absence of chaos, it means completeness, wholeness, and it points to Jesus Christ.
Shalom is translated a peace they used this word many times in the Bible so demonstrate they come in peace. The first appearance of the word peace was in Genesis 15:15 “as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.” Peace was mentioned nearly 400 times in both Old and New testament. That's how important peace truly is.
Jesus is the true peace you can ever find because nothing in this world will fufiill you the way he can. You'll always find yourself trying to fill a void whether that be drugs, sex, alchol, relationships, etc. Nobody can fill that void in our hearts but God. I remember hearing people tell their boyfriends/girlfriends "be my peace" it's not okay to let an human being or anything be your "peace" why? because we are human we make mistakes, we're not perfect.
Jesus is our perfect peace. Most people that's screaming "be my peace" don't even have peace within themselves, Jesus is our peace within we are a new creation when we come to Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Nobody can make you whole but Jesus Christ, he truly keeps everything together.
Isaiah 9:6 - For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Peace is such a powerful word, that power resides in Christ Jesus, Isaiah the prophet, prophesised that Jesus will be the prince of peace and how the governement will rest on his shoulders. This means there is no temptation or trial Jesus cannot understand. He knows your struggles, sadness, sins, and he sympathize with us. There's no hardship or diffculty that he doesn't have the strength to endure. He endured the cross, the betryal of Judas, out of all the babies that we're killed when he was born God the father kept Jesus safe. God promises us perfect peace and that's Jesus I cannot stress that enough.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
God's peace surpass all understanding, we have eternal peace, peace with others, peace within ourselves, and the gospel of peace all because of Jesus Christ. The gospel is peace we have when we share others the good news for salvation, Paul actually made it clear for us to put on the gospel of peace to stand against the enemy.
This was located in Ephesians 6 of the Bible. Definitely check out that book in the Bible. Peace is something that despite chaos we know who to rely in and trust in. In a world, full of people looking for peace what they're looking for is right in front of them, God. God is the only one who can fulfill you. This the kind of peace that can't be bought because Jesus has already paid the ultimate price.

How can you make peace with others your past?
Truly mediate on this scriptures, and pray this prayer.
"May today there be peace within.
May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance.
It is there for each and every one of you."
